This year, the forecasted supersize El Niño will force 49 million people worldwide into acute hunger. Into starvation. This isn't theoretical or hyperbolic. It is the undeniable report of the UN World Food Programme (WFP), issued this past August.

An unprecedent El Niño is expected to peak between September and December 2026, but the effects will be felt throughout 2027 in many countries, owing to impacts on future harvests. Although it is the most vulnerable and impoverished regions who suffer the effects first (and most), this climate expression will be felt globally, with disrupted food supplies, failing harvests, and fuel shortage.

In the coming months, as this situation unfolds, Western media and governments are going to talk at you about stocking up supplies, increased food/bills costs. Your government will use the "crisis" as a justification for xenophobia, limiting immigrants, punishing refugees. White people are going to get mean, scared, greedy. They always do. Covid-19 already demonstrated how little it takes to make racists and white society crumble into self-destructive, hoarding, and violent behaviour. But....

The one thing they won't talk about is Israel. The won't connect the dots for you. They won't tell you how Israel has been the unprecedented accelerator of global warming in the past three years.

Israel has dropped depleted uranium bombs, and over the equivalent of two nuclear bombs on Gaza alone - a tiny strip of land inside a concentration camp. They have relentlessly bombed Gaza for three years with obscene amounts of explosives - enough to deplete many Western country's entire arsenal. The Israelis have mass-detonated entire Lebanese towns and villages, rigging homes and underground pockets with enough explosives to register as 4.0 Earthquakes.

Israel drops white phosphorous on Lebanese civilians

In addition to explosive, the Israelis have dropped white phosphorous - sometimes daily - on Gaza and Lebanon. White phosphorous is an internationally banned chemical weapon. It burns at temperatures over 800°C upon contact with air, instantly starting intense fires. It is nearly impossible to put out, burning through skin, bone, stone, and earth.

Once hit with white phosphorous, the affected area must be kept submerged in water constantly, or else it will burst back into flame. You can only imagine what this does to the human body. The chemical weapon destroys olive groves, fruit orchards, and seasonal harvests. Repeated strikes leave behind toxic residues, heavy metals, and phosphoric acid that lower soil fertility and can render it unable to yield crops. In short, the chemical damage can turn productive farmland into barren, unusable dirt. It can leave massive amounts of land unable to produce food for decades.

The Israelis are torching Palestinian farmland (in the West Bank), and decimating vast Lebanese forests. They have set fire to and destroyed so many crops and farmlands in Lebanon that it triggered a famine in the Southern part of the country in 2025. Rafah now looks like the surface of the moon - result of the scorched-earth policy of the Zionists. As AIRJ reported, this is the intentional and forced desertification of Lebanon.

In their campaign to murder Palestinians by depriving them of water, the Israelis have bombed and destroyed most vital water treatment plants, wells, and all sewage networks have been ruined, releasing tens of thousands of cubic meters of raw sewage daily into the streets and the sea. They have polluted the sea, the sea life, the ground.

Because of Israel, the entire region is polluted by millions of tons of rubble and military debris laden with asbestos, uranium, chromium, barium, arsenic, cadmium, other heavy metals, and unexploded ordinance that poison the air, soil, and groundwater systems. Children in Gaza are already being born with massive birth defects - a direct result of Israeli bombing.

Israel is committing genocide and ecocide, polluting Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, Yemen, Iran. They have mass-killed wildlife, plants, and humans. All in their bloodthirsty, demonic campaign to eradicate Palestinians. It is all part of their imperial expansion campaign.

So, when the prices hike, the floods come, and global trade is disrupted - when you see news reporters excitedly gesticulating to their graphs and weather graphs - just remember that this isn't disconnected. This is consequences.

We are all going to pay for what we permitted to happen in Palestine. The Palestinian genocide is going to come 'round to punish the West in so many ways. The climate is just one of them.
